Conveyor Components

We specialise in the supply of conveyor components & spares especially designed for the line shaft driven roller conveyor, which is predominantly used within the warehouse and carton handling industry.

Line shaft driven roller conveyors are powered by a shaft underneath the rollers and are suitable for transferring units of no more than 20kgs. These conveyors are most commonly by companies to moving cardboard boxes of stock.

This type of conveyor system is usually powered by an electrical motor, which usually are controlled by a Programmable Logic Controller or PLC. A PLC control system is required to control certain areas of the conveyor system and how it interacts with the items being transferred along it.

Advantages of line shaft driven roller conveyors is that they are quiet to run and can easily be adapted for all kinds of application of use within industry. This type of conveyor however is not best suited to carry objects of varying shape and size as some may fall between the rollers.

Belt conveyors are a better choice for those kinds of application as they support all kinds of shape and are more likely to keep the objects flat whilst in transit if needed.
